Weekly Roundup: MSP and NHS

On Monday we were pleased to award Linda Fabiani MSP with a Carer Positive award. Simon Hodgson, director or Carers Scotland, travelled to her constituency office in East Kilbride to present the certificate and offer our congratulations. Thank you for all your work to support our initiative and carers in the workplace Linda!

We have also been celebrating NHS Ayrshire and Arran achieving their Engaged level award last week. NHS Ayrshire and Arran have done a lot of work with carers in their organisation, including creating a staff survey to learn more about their working carers and what their concerns and needs might be. This was a really great approach as it has allowed them to find the best and more useful ways that they can offer support to their staff. We have no doubt that NHS Ayrshire and Arran will continue to develop this culture of support and work towards attaining Established and Exemplary level awards.
