Weekly Update: Carer Positive Employers Workshop for the Highlands and Islands
We are holding a virtual workshop on Wednesday 24thFebruary, from 10.30am till 12pm for employers based in the Highlands and Islands.
This will bring together organisations in the Highlands and Islands to discuss and share experiences on how employers can support staff with caring responsibilities.
Carer Positive Employers will be amongst those in attendance and able to share their insights into the process of creating a supportive working environment for carers. We would also like as many other local employers as possible to attend, to learn about the challenges faced by working carers, any barriers they face themselves as employers, and what support might be helpful in developing their own supportive working environments.
This workshop is open to anyone in the Highlands and Islands area and, like all of our resources, is free to attend. We hope that you will be able to join us on the day, feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about this or future events.
