Another Scottish NHS Become Carer Positive

NHS Westen Isles has now been recognised as a Carer Positive employer.

From their application, which highlighted a Special Leave Policy, health and wellbeing support and practical and technical provisions for home working, it was clear that this health board values and supports staff with caring responsibilities.

Well done to everyone involved in developing this support! We are proud to see that the vast majoirty of Scottish health boards are now Carer Positive employers, which benefits a huge number of working carers accross the country.
