New MSP Becomes Carer Positive

We recently recognised Elena Whitham MSP as a new Carer Positive employer. Ms Whitham is one of the Members of the Scottish Parliament that was elected earlier this year for Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley.

Although MSPs usually only employ a few individuals at their offices, we are always pleased to see MSPs becoming accredited as Carer Positive. We feel it sends a strong message of support for our cause from within the Scottish Government, and in addition it shows that employers of all sizes are able to create supportive working environments for employees with caring responsibilities.
