Weekly Roundup: Carers Dealing with Corona

We've had an exciting week, starting the Charity Film Awards who had their annual awards ceremony live online on Tuesday night. If you missed the show, you can watch it here on their website. There were a lot of fantastic films nominated but the big news of the night was that Carers UK's film 'Both Sides of the Story' won the big prize of the night; Charity Film of the Year. There was also a fantastic response to Carers UK's survey last week, particularly in Scotland, and it was great to see so many carers' sharing their experiences. From the responses, Carers UK were able to publish their Caring Behind Closed Doors report on Thursday evening which highlighted many of the issues that carers were experiencing during the covid-19 pandemic and subsequent quarantine lockdown.
