Carer Positive is a project run by Carers Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government so our work is closely linked with theirs. Cares Scotland are able to provide up to date advice and support for carers living in Scotland.

Carers UK
Carer Positive and Carers Scotland both belong to the larger organisation Carers UK. The Carers UK website provides a huge amount of information on caring and becoming a member with them will also give you access to resources such as care guides and the Carers UK forums.


 Employer For Carer

Employers for Carers
A similar scheme to Carer Positive for organisations in England and Wales. Their Carer Confident benchmarking scheme is a paid-for service that helps employers in England and Wales support carers in the workplace.

Working Families
Promoting work life balance for parents and carers. This site offers extensive resources for employers and an award programme which includes ‘Best for Carers’ and ‘Eldercare’ awards.
