NHS 24 move to Established award

The Carer Positive team were delighted to present NHS 24 with their Established level Carer Positive award certificate at their offices last month.

In their application, NHS 24 showed a clear organisational commitment to supporting carers in the workplace, with strong foundations in policy, a broad range of practical support, and meaningful involvement of carers in shaping the approach.

It was evident that carers are being supported in practice, not just through policy, and that NHS 24 is working hard to embed a supportive and inclusive culture. Additionally, communication and awareness are being supported through a structured approach, with information embedded at induction, manager training, and ongoing awareness-raising activity.
