Award for Dundee and Angus College

This week we were delighted to recognise Dundee and Angus College as a Carer Positive employer.

It was clear from their application that there is a strong commitment to supporting staff with caring responsibilities (as well as student carers) at the college, and that this is well communicated through the policy and staff portal. Their use of links to external groups and support is also very helpful and they have created a carers group to bring staff members with caring responsibilities together and create a network of support.

We had a lovely online meeting with the members of staff responsible for putting this support for carers in place on Tuesday. It was a great opportunity to and discuss their experiences as an organisation and their next steps towards the Established level.
